The rooms are private and spacious, and I don't think they have dorm-style rooms, just as a heads-up. The owner was a great help. We skipped AC since nights weren't too warm, and every bed had its own fan. It's close to the bus station and not too far from the train.

The second night at the actual guesthouse was lovely, and I'd recommend having dinner there. The owner is friendly and helpful. If you're told the place is full, don't get talked into staying in a neighbour's room, since that place is horrible.

We spent two nights in a large AC room. Pasan runs the house with his whole family, including his grandmother, father, mother, and aunt. They welcomed us courteously and were all very friendly. The meals were local, so be careful if you don't handle spicy food well. We felt comfortable there, enjoyed talking with them, and left with good memories. We recommend staying here.

The staff were kind and helpful, but the room was the ugliest I've ever seen. There wasn't a proper shower, just a pipe sticking out of the wall with one stream of water, and the basin was broken.
