The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, and the staff were great. The gentleman at reception was especially friendly. For what the hotel costs, the rooms and service felt exceptional. The only snag was booking: I had to deposit half the price into their bank account, which was difficult without a Sri Lankan bank account since I had to go to a bank or ATM. Aside from that, everything was great.

We were a family of three and stayed for two nights. This is a tucked-away hotel in the jungle, and the staff were super friendly. They were happy to help with anything, and even our very shy seven-year-old felt comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were updated and very clean. We liked sitting out in the open-air hallway for a little aperitif, and the kitchen was excellent. Even during the power outages, they did their best to look after us. The one small downside was the mattresses, which were hard and had springs you could feel. I’d recommend staying here.

The garden was beautiful and well kept, and the place itself was calm and quiet. Our room was comfortable and the service was good. Mr Tharanga Sri at the front desk was especially kind and helped arrange milk rice for the Buddha pooja. We had a comfortable stay.

After a day seeing the sights, it was great to cool off with a swim and have fresh fruit juice. The resort sits between Anuradhapura and Mihintale, making the main attractions easy to reach by tuk-tuk. Our room was clean and lovely, and the beds were comfortable.
