The service made a strong impression: staff were responsive, attentive, and welcoming from check-in through check-out, and they went out of their way to keep things comfortable. The guest house was spotless, including both the room and shared areas. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it for the clean, well-kept place and excellent service.

Thisa Lake is in front, so you can bathe there, and Ruwanweliseya is about five minutes away from Srimaha Bodhi. It’s a quiet, relaxed place where you can come with family or friends and enjoy a little drink.

We were 13 people and stayed one night. The four rooms were spacious, each with two double beds and an attached bathroom. There was also a living room, dining area, and a kitchen stocked with nearly everything, including a rice cooker, blender, gas cooker and cylinder, spoons, plates, and cups. An iron and ironing board were available too. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The place was reasonably priced and good value.

Scam alert, don’t visit. We booked two rooms for one night a day before arriving, but when we got there, the owner said there were no bookings. He then tried to hit us with an iron pole and acted violently, like a crazy person, when he realized we knew about his scam.
