The hosts were friendly and easy to approach, and they were happy to meet our needs. They even pointed us to a great natural place nearby to watch the sunset. Tamarind Resort was a lovely stay, with a clean, nice room, hot water, both a fan and AC, and a beautiful garden. The restaurant food was really good. The location worked well too, just outside Habarana so it was quieter while still close to the center. Prices were fair. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good, though that seems normal in this jungle area. Thanks, we had a great time!

Akeel was such a kind and welcoming host. He brought us delicious local treats and shared useful ideas for exploring nearby. He also showed us videos of the surrounding nature and some of his own film projects, which gave the stay a personal touch. You could feel his passion and creativity. The setting was peaceful and great for tours and being close to nature. We had a beautiful stay and would absolutely recommend it for the hospitality and authentic local feel.
