The place is a long way from puja nagaraya, and they suggested getting lunch from the restaurant out front. The food was awful. The rice and curry seemed like they might have been cooked the day before and kept frozen. It smelled spoiled, and the rice was really hard. Food for animals might be better than this 🤮. It wasn't worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The bathrooms were especially unhygienic and need a lot of repairs. The floor wasn't clean, and the air conditioner didn't work properly. There was no internet through the routers, and mobile SIM cards had no signal either. They said on Facebook that it was much closer to Anuradhapura Temple, but it's around 14 km away. It wasn't worth the price. We skipped dinner and breakfast there because of the bad reviews we'd read.

At Ranwali Resort in Anuradhapura, the setting among nature made for a peaceful break. It suited us well as a place to relax while visiting the historic city, and I had a pleasant stay overall.
