Rich Resort & Restaurant

The owner made the stay special. He was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with a smile. The food was just as good, with delicious, fresh breakfasts and dinners and plenty of variety. Everything exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. I'd highly recommend this place for comfort, great food, and outstanding service. I'll definitely come back!

We spent 2 nights at the Guesthouse for the Poya Poson celebration, right in front of the House. The room was nice and comfortable, and it felt like home. The owner and his family were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and homemade. I recommend it! Thanks.

Wimal, the father and owner, was a wonderful host and a great driver who can show you around the island. The family-owned The Rich Resort and Restaurant has a relaxed, friendly feel, and the clean, cozy rooms blend comfort with local charm. We found the hospitality top-notch, and the restaurant had a fantastic variety of local dishes. Its location in Mihintale was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend it for a comfortable, memorable stay.

Wimal showed us some really nice places around Mihintale and Arunadhapura, and his family were lovely. The rooms were very clean, and the food was delicious, with special thanks to Wimals wonderful wife. We had a great stay at Rich Resort. One thing to consider is that the rooms vary a lot in noise. The bigger room at the back is still noisy, but much better. Wimal is a real businessman, which could feel a little overwhelming, and we ended up spending much more than we'd planned. Even so, I'd absolutely recommend the place.
