The room made this a comfortable, restful stay. I even got an upgrade, which I appreciated, and had a fantastic room with comfy beds, pleasant lighting, and an outdoor shower. Showering under the stars at night felt luxurious. There's a small pool with a few sunbeds, and the WiFi worked great. I was glad to find a place to unwind, since I didn't find Anuradhapura the most enjoyable city. Food wasn't especially impressive, though there were plenty of options. The hotel's tours seemed quite overpriced compared with elsewhere. Communication could be tricky at times, since only one of the presumed owners spoke English well. Still, the room and experience were great, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and relaxation.

The pool area was relaxing, the food superb, and the air-conditioned rooms very comfortable. It's a calm, beautiful, clean place, and the staff were extremely friendly with excellent service. We felt it was well worth the price. A great base for locals or foreigners exploring ancient Anuradhapura and nearby attractions. Highly recommend!

The manager made us feel so welcome. He's a really sweet guy who takes care of everything. The hotel was lovely too, and had a nice swimming pool.

Roaches were in my room, and the towel I was given had stains. The kid who checked me in tossed it onto a chair where I imagine everyone who comes in sits. While he showed me to my room, I kept asking for a fresh towel. He kept saying he'd bring one but never did. The bathroom is completely open and has no windows, leaving mosquitoes an easy way in to rest before feeding. The receptionist kid was extremely rude. I had paid a crazy price for the biggest room with four beds, but he insisted I use only one. Manners and kindness go a long way in hospitality, and this “hotel” clearly doesn't value them.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly, the manager was keen to help arrange any of the available tours, and the food was delicious.
