It’s a family business run by really nice people, and after staying in different places in Arugam over the years, this was definitely my favorite. The beds are comfortable, and the team made me feel better than at home. For less than the average hut place in Arugam, Albero’s gives you more space inside and around the hut. It’s in Central Arugam, right on the main street, yet quiet and green as if you were yards away. There’s also direct access to the beach.

The beach is just seconds away on foot, and the place is peaceful, away from the bustle and noise of Arugam Main Street. The huts are comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms are great. Astrophe and the team were always friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. I’d stay again.

This used to be another nice guest house. The people staying there now kicked out the owner, who was Swiss, along with Johnson and his team, without a reason. Well, sure, it was about money. They’ll soon be in a court case. Better stay away from Albero...
