The staff were the highlight at Podbay, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. We stayed in Bay 2, a fairly basic room, but it was clean and spacious, with great water views from the balcony. We felt safe there. Right on the beach, the place has a lovely pool and lots of shade. I’d happily stay at PodBay again and recommend it.

We spent six nights in Bay 2 and Bay 3 at the start of June, and had a great time. The bays had lovely shaded porches, and both the pool area and the porches stayed out of the sun. There was plenty of room for anyone who wanted sunshine, too. We felt very safe, and the beach was right outside, with shops and restaurants close by. Breakfast was amazing. Thanks, Pod Bay, for a great stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and very accommodating.

Kobi and the team made us feel welcome and looked after, and breakfast was delicious. We found the rooms very clean, with a porch on the 'Bay' pods where we could relax and take in the ocean view. The hotel is right beside the Arugam bay restaurants, and it’s also right on the beach, with plenty of beach chairs and a lovely pool. I’d recommend Arugam Bay PodBay to friends and other travelers, and look forward to going back.

We enjoyed our off-season stay in the sea-view Pod 4 cabana. The pool was kept clean, and the showers worked. Our room, linens, and towels were all very clean, and breakfast included unlimited tea, coffee, and water. Service was friendly and very good. We felt well looked after and would recommend it.

The calm, laid-back setting made it easy to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. Views are lovely, especially with the beach and pool nearby. Staff were genuinely friendly and ready to help, which gave the place a welcoming feel. The rooms are simple and had what we needed for a relaxed beach holiday. They were comfortable and good value, though some areas could use a little maintenance. A nice option for kind service, good views, and a peaceful stay.
