Jetwing Surf & Safari, A Luxury Reserve

The meals were a real highlight, among the best we’ve had lately. Thanks to Head Chef Mr. Prashant for putting so much care and skill into every dish. We were also well looked after by Mr. Sadun, our personal butler, who handled each request efficiently, and by Ms. Kaushalya and her front office colleague, who were friendly and helpful throughout. At JetWing Surf Resort in Arugam Bay, we were welcomed with drinks and settled into comfortable cabanas surrounded by nature and equipped with what we needed. Mr.Haffi, the General Manager, was personally involved in making sure guests were happy. It was a warm, enjoyable stay, and we’d gladly recommend the resort.

Pasan, our butler, and Kaushalya took such good care of us. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the whole time. Jetwing Surf was a great stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Watching the eastern sun rise from the hotel beach was unforgettable. The sea views are beautiful, and the peaceful setting makes this a lovely place to get away from city life. The cabanas feel natural and distinctive while still being comfortable and modern, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the tasty food. It’s conveniently placed for Arugambay and Lahugala park, though getting here from Colombo takes quite a while. For us, the quiet coast made the journey worthwhile. A serene East Coast escape.

I spent three nights at Jetwing Surf and found it a wonderfully peaceful place to unwind. The resort sits right by the beach, with wide ocean views and a steady sea breeze. Its open design and natural materials give it a relaxed coastal feel, while the comfort and thoughtful details still feel high end. The staff were caring and attentive, and I felt at home throughout. The meals were fresh, full of flavour, and varied, from breakfast through dinner. Eating beside the ocean made them even more enjoyable. I’d gladly return for the setting, food, and service, and recommend it for a quiet beachfront stay in Sri Lanka.
