We stayed two nights at this tiny mountain lodge in Ella, and it was so comfortable that we wished we could have stayed longer. There are only two rooms, so it was wonderfully quiet and a real hidden gem for relaxing. From our room, the view of the Ceylon tea fields and mountains was breathtaking. The air was crisp and the nights cool; sitting on the terrace for ages with insects and frogs in the background was lovely. Owner Dom had put personal touches into breakfast, and the welcome fruit drink was the best. All the amenities were there, with the reassuring feel of a Japanese inn. I’d confidently recommend it.
