Since the place was sold, it seems to have changed a lot. There are only about five rooms on the rooftop, and the bedroom was just white walls, a bed, and a light. No toilet paper or soap, and Wi-Fi costs extra. I gave it two stars instead of one because the employee let us cancel the booking for 500 rupees.

We arrived with all our bags after booking four days ahead, only to find they were full and had no rooms left. In high season, in a small village, we were left with nowhere to stay.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and having a private kitchen is really good. They can arrange free Wi-Fi too. It’s a walk to Arugam Bay beach.
