Sameera and Madushanka were fantastic, attentive, and professional, and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Shehan, the chef, deserves a special mention too. The food was delicious and one of the highlights of the trip. Villa Thuya is in a lovely, tucked-away spot with peaceful surroundings and beautiful coastal views. We had a fantastic stay in Balapitiya and can't wait to return. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway with top-tier service in Sri Lanka.

We loved our three-night, four-day break at Villa Thuya. The setting is beautiful and well cared for, and the food was delicious, with each meal beautifully presented and thoughtful little touches. The staff worked around the timings of our daily excursions when preparing and arranging meals, which made the stay fantastic. Kudos to the chef. I'd recommend it to anyone after a peaceful beach getaway.

The rooms were really clean, and we loved the beachfront setting and big pool. The food was delicious too. We had the best time here as a family, with great service from Sameera, Shehan, and Madushanka. Highly recommend.

The beach can be reached by a rocky path, which isn't ideal for children, and the nearby sea was rough enough that we wouldn't encourage swimming there. We also took a few excursions to places nearby. The villa was beautiful and well maintained, and both the staff and management group were extremely helpful and friendly. One of my family's best vacations.

The WhatsApp chat for booking confirmations and sharing details was really handy with my busy daytime schedule. Mr Janath Fenando even let us check in early at no extra charge, and the price was very reasonable. The pool was clean and well maintained, and everything else was in good shape too. Rooms were especially nice, clean, and well planned. We had a great time at the foosball table, it was the topic of the day. The staff were so friendly, and the in-house chef made fantastic food. When we chose a menu but asked for a few alternatives, they went above and beyond by combining options to suit us. The rocky beach is right there, a great place to sit and watch the sea. Walk about 50 metres and you reach a sandy beach sheltered from the rocks, a lovely private beach. One of the best places I've ever visited. Truly wonderful.
