The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly and cooperative. They greeted us with a welcome drink when we arrived. There are lots of small plants and trees around the property, which make it look beautiful. The small pool is kept clean regularly. I liked the hotel.

We loved every second at Village Bentota Hotel and would happily come back. It’s a peaceful, relaxed spot with a beautiful garden and a fantastic pool, almost like a tropical paradise. The free tuk tuk to its sister hotel on the beach was a great extra, and the prices seemed good compared with the other places we visited. The food was amazing, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thanks so much to Podi, Samantha and everyone else, even if we can’t remember all their names. ☺️

We had a great stay with family and friends and enjoyed it to the fullest. All the facilities were good except the TV, which didn’t work. Hope to come back.

We’d booked a month ahead, but when we arrived the rooms weren’t what had been promised. The owner was rude and uncooperative, and there were lizards and cockroaches in the room, so the place needs insect treatment. When we tried to move to another hotel, we were made to pay extra. Not worth it. A very bad experience.
