Dilush is a certified Ayurveda practitioner and gave us lots of explanations about Buddhism and Ayurveda. He and his wife Nipuni both speak excellent English. They can arrange tours of local attractions and accompany guests if asked, and with them you can experience authentic Sri Lankan life.
A special little highlight was the colorful birds of paradise pecking at the window in the morning :). This guesthouse lives up to its name. Dilush gave us a warm welcome and showed us his Sri Lanka in a friendly, unobtrusive way, which can sometimes be quite different in Sri Lanka. It was our first stop in Sri Lanka, and Dilush helped us from the start, arranging airport transfers and easily changing everything when we missed our connection. Let yourself be surprised!
