The rooftop has a lovely view, especially at sunset, and the rooms are well kept. The staff are friendly, and the Sri Lankan food is delicious. Their cheese, chicken and vegetable mixed hopper was amazing. I hadn’t found it anywhere else, and I’d definitely try it again 🤤

The owner and staff are helpful and friendly, and you can arrange meals if you ask. The hotel is well maintained, with clean rooms and basic comforts like AC, WiFi, hot water, a mini fridge, electric kettle and cable TV. It’s on Rodney Place and seems especially suitable for professionals looking for an overnight stay.

For the price, this was good value compared with nearby places. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was comfortable and clean. Most rooms have a balcony for some fresh air and local views. There was a kettle with tea, plus a bottle of water. The AC and WiFi worked well, and the bathroom was new and kept up nicely, with reliable hot water. A couple of things to plan for: they only take Sri Lankan rupees, with no credit or debit cards. Also, the owner should train the staff better, particularly the night shift, since the gate needs to be unlocked whenever someone heads out. Still, it’s a comfortable, clean, no-frills option if you’re after good value. We had a good stay.
