Amari Colombo Sri Lanka Hotel

Skye Hall’s ocean views made a beautiful setting for our engagement ceremony at Amari Colombo. It really was the best day ♥️ Sethmi Ovitigala guided us from the first planning steps through the event, listening to what we wanted as we chose the hall and menu. She helped bring our dream venue concept to life, down to matching the chair ribbons to our theme. She also suggested a florist and worked smoothly with them so the arrangements suited the hall. The cake she arranged with the hotel’s chef came out just as I’d imagined. Our guests all spoke highly of the food, and the service staff were kind and attentive throughout. The modern amenities added comfort and elegance. Sethmi even made sure there was a vanity mirror in my dressing room, which helped the HMUA a lot. I highly recommend Amari Colombo and Sethmi Ovitigala for future events, especially gatherings of under 100 guests.

We spent 4 days in a spacious suite overlooking the ocean and city after getting a lucky upgrade. The hotel is beautiful and new, in a safe spot with easy transport and restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Check-in was quick, and the front desk was extremely efficient. One call was enough to get things sorted. Breakfast was good, though the service could be more efficient, and most of the staff seemed keen to please. We also got to enjoy high tea and cocktais at Club Phana after a busy morning. It was a lovely chance to relax. Thanks to Sithimini for taking the time to explain everything with a smile.

The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the staff stayed friendly and attentive during our visit. Yashoda from the restaurant deserves a special thank you. She was welcoming and genuinely kind each time, and her attentive service made dining there enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend the hotel, and hope to come back.

Nadeeshan made a real difference to my trip at Amari Colombo. He kept the room spotless, paid close attention to what we needed, and remembered things we had mentioned. Every day he greeted us with a pleasant smile, and it was clear he knew his work well. His professionalism and care were outstanding. Thank you, Nadeeshan, for all your hard work. The hotel has a great location, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it. Well done, Nadeeshan! 👏👏👏
