I’d booked this place to shower and leave my luggage while sightseeing in Colombo before a late-night flight. Since my flight was the next day, I ended up staying one night. The room had its own shower and toilet, and the air conditioning kept it cool, so I had no problems. The location was convenient and the staff were good. For 3500 rupees a night, it’s great to stay this comfortably. I’d highly recommend it to budget travelers.

I was a little cold overnight because the bedding is quite thin, so a duvet or blanket would’ve been welcome. Maybe they can provide one if you ask. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are big and clean, and there’s plenty of privacy. Good price and location.

I paid $25 for the room through Agoda, where it was at least $10 cheaper than booking directly. When I extended for an extra night at the hotel, they quoted $35. Colombo Fort railway station is half a kilometer away, about a 10-15 minute walk. The rooms and facilities are modern, and the dorm beds have individual curtains. Staff were helpful and recommended a good nearby place to eat. The front desk is advertised as open 24 hours, but check-in isn’t possible after 11 pm. What if your flight is delayed?

City beds is nicely placed, only a five-minute walk from the train station. I found the room clean and nicely designed, and the staff were helpful. Riyas in particular made me feel comfortable, and I’m grateful for his help and good attitude. Great place to stay!
