That special pure vegetarian breakfast they made just for us was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were humble, courteous, and quick to help whenever we needed something. Their attention to our needs made us feel genuinely cared for.

The host was lovely and really helpful, and breakfast was nice. There’s a bedroom with AC and a shower room in this little villa right in Colombo. Some things felt a bit unfinished, as can happen at this price point in Sri Lanka, but at £30 a night, keep your expectations in perspective.

The staff were friendly, and the WiFi worked great for getting some work done. It’s a small place within walking distance of the main road. Had a great stay.

Breakfast was something we enjoyed, and being slightly set back from the main road meant traffic noise wasn't an issue. A tuk-tuk was only a 10-second ride down the driveway, making it easy to get around town. This family-run place became our base for a short time in Colombo before we explored the rest of the country. The furnishings are simple but clean and perfectly adequate, and we felt very welcome.
