We needed a place for a short stop in Colombo before our flight, and the location worked well. There's a small food court just to the right and a restaurant beside it. The hotel has a charming rustic feel. Our room was clean, though a few marks on the walls made it look a little worn. There are several flights of stairs, so getting luggage up can take some effort. We carried our bags through the first section, then staff kindly took over and helped with the rest. They were friendly and helpful throughout. We checked out around midnight on our second night for an early flight. The owner offered us a discount because we weren't staying for the whole night, a thoughtful gesture that left us with a good impression.

The stay was quiet and relaxing, and the location made it easy to get around. My room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful, and both check-in and checkout went smoothly. I'd happily stay here again.

Thieleban was especially helpful, and the staff were friendly. The location is good, though the railway station nearby means I'd suggest asking for a room that doesn't face the ocean.

We were glad to find shampoo and coconut-scented shower gel after traveling around Sri Lanka, instead of just a bar of soap. The room was spacious, clean, tidy, and comfortable, with everything looking new. It seems the hotel was renovated recently. The welcome was lovely. At check-in they brought chilled towels and fresh drinks, and the staff even got the jacuzzi ready for us, which was a real treat. The windows and balcony have a beautiful view. It's also well placed, near supermarkets, lots of cafes and restaurants, and not far from the city center. We really enjoyed staying here, thank you!

Looking out at the ocean rolling toward the rail tracks from our room was a dream. The property manager made the stay feel personal with such a warm welcome.
