The proprietor is Japanese and speaks great English, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. This unique guesthouse is centrally located in Colombo, with a very reasonable rate for a good-sized, very clean room. The bed was large and comfortable, bedding included, the WiFi was solid, and the aircon was one of the better units I've used in Sri Lanka. There's an organic produce shop on the ground floor and an excellent Char Sui takeaway restaurant directly opposite.
