Fortwill City Hotel

The team made our stay easy, offering useful local tips and helping arrange our onward trip to Colombo. We spent two nights here in Galle and had a fantastic time. The room had a lovely view, and was comfortable, stylish, and well equipped. The hotel is brand new and tastefully designed. Air conditioning is placed so it doesn't blow straight onto the bed, and there's a ceiling fan for a softer breeze. The modern bathroom was very clean, and the large TV had plenty of international channels. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good English-style spread, Sri Lankan specialties, and fresh fruit. The coconut pancakes were the best, and the traditional Sri Lankan black tea with milk was delicious too. A beautiful modern hotel with a personal touch. Thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well.

We spent two lovely days at Fortwillcity Hotel, and it felt peaceful despite being close to town. The quiet setting had no disturbances, which made it relaxing. Our spacious room and the rest of the hotel were clean and well maintained, with most things needed for a comfortable stay. Great value for the money.

Outside, you can hear cicadas in the evening, which gives the place a magical feel. Fortwill Hotel is new, with lovely modern rooms that are spacious and clean. Ours had a small terrace and a large, comfortable bathroom. The staff were attentive and very helpful throughout. It's about a 10-minute drive from the city center in Galle, and I'd gladly recommend staying here.

The staff helped me sort out a problem with one of my purchases by getting in touch with the business owner. Our Sri Lankan breakfast came in generous portions, and the rooms were clean. There were enough towels for a shower and toilet paper, which can be an issue in some places in Sri Lanka. The air-conditioning was excellent. It's away from the bustle of the fort but about 10 minutes by tuk tuk. A great hotel with friendly staff.
