Rangiri Dambulla Resort

The surroundings are serene, and the rooms have a calm, aesthetic interior. There's an electronic safe in the rooms too. The staff are down to earth and very friendly, and the service was impressive.

The rooms were palatial, with huge, comfortable beds, and the attentive staff looked after our every need. Our children loved the swimming pool, and there's also a lovely herb garden. Lots of sites are nearby.

The candlelit dinner beside the pool was the moment I’ll remember most. Oil lamps made the whole area feel warm, the food was delicious, and the staff surprised us with a birthday cake. The next morning’s breakfast had lovely fresh fruit and vegetables grown there. We felt welcome from the start, with a traditional oil lamp lighting, flowers, and a welcome drink. Our villa was clean, comfortable, and decorated with flowers. The grounds were a pleasure to walk through, with labelled plants and trees, peacocks, and giant squirrels. We also enjoyed tea by the peaceful pool. The whole team, from security and reception to housekeeping and the kitchen, looked after us. Resident Manager Mr. Dinesh especially went out of his way to make our stay special. It was hard to leave, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. We’d love to come back.

Dinesh deserves a lot of credit for the care he showed us. He made our stay feel complete, was attentive throughout, and always brought a positive energy. The resort’s service was excellent, and the staff treated us sincerely, like family.
