Parasol Doré

We came with our 10 month old baby and felt completely at home. The team were so warm and kind, and the place was spotlessly clean with great service. The photos don’t capture the peaceful feeling of spending 8 days right on this beautiful beach, listening to the crashing waves. The breakfasts were exceptional, the best we had in our 2 week stay. We stayed 8 nights and could have stayed longer. It’s a perfect base for exploring the area or simply relaxing here. Thank you Jeremy, Julie, Roshan and team.

Roshan gave us a glimpse of everyday life in Sri Lanka, and the wonderful staff made our stay special. We had 8 nights at Parasol Dore, a beautifully designed place that was clean and comfortable, and a perfect start to our holiday. Thanks so much to Jeremy, Julie and all the staff. The hotel beach is great for body boarding, which our 13 year old loved. The next cove has snorkeling and calmer water for younger kids. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, or a 5 or 10 minute tuktuk ride away. We enjoyed trying local food and preferred the traditional Sri Lankan dishes to food aimed at tourists. Hiriketiya beach is 10-15 minutes away by tuktuk, and is much busier, with lots of tourist dining options.

Julia and Jeremy are wonderful people who really spoiled us, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was just right: the accommodation, breakfast, location by the beach, and pool. Honestly, there’s no better place to spend a couple of nights around Dickwella. Highly recommend!

We loved having breakfast here, and the service was 10/10. The hotel is beautiful and sits right on a private beach, so it’s peaceful for relaxing. If you want the bustle of Hiriketiya, it’s only a short tuktuk ride, which they kindly arrange for you. Our favourite stay on our trip in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend!
