We stayed in a huge second-floor room. It was very clean, with a large bathroom, a nice balcony, and strong air conditioning. I only wish the beds had a heavier blanket. The grounds were pristine, the pool was huge, and the ocean views were beautiful. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. Dickwella beach is a few minutes away on foot, and Hirikitiya is about a ten-minute walk. The staff were warm, friendly, and always made sure we had what we needed. We didn’t eat here, but I heard the food was great. Wish we’d stayed longer.

We had a lovely, peaceful time at sandy's Villa. The pool and garden were a pleasure to enjoy, and the food was great. There are set menus, mostly Sri Lankan dishes, and please call ahead if you want any extras. With the current situation, there aren’t Europeans to cater for. The staff were lovely and followed health regulations. A calm, excellent place to relax. Thank you sandy's villa for making our stay fruitful!

We booked two nights at first, then stayed seven. The daily breakfasts were delicious, our room was super clean, and the view from Sandy's Villa was breathtaking. The owner, cook, cleaner, and all the staff were lovely, inspiring people who helped us whenever we needed anything. Dickwella beach is very close, and it’s one of the nicest beaches in Sri Lanka, without too many tourists. Hiriketiya is another beautiful option if you want a more touristy beach, and it’s a ten-minute walk. We loved the calm, relaxed energy of the place and will never forget our time there. We’ll definitely come back!

We got a free upgrade to a large room with an ocean view. The pool was lovely, the people were friendly, and breakfast was good. A lovely villa in a great spot between Hirikiteya and Mirissa. Worth a visit.
