The staff made the stay feel easy from check-in onward. They were gentle and low-key, always smiling, and happy to help with anything. The SriLanka breakfast is a real taste sensation if that's your thing. The pool was sparkling clean, with infinity views toward the beach, and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom had a modern wet-room feel, and the air conditioning worked efficiently. Gardens around the pool courtyard were spotless, and the furniture by the pool and on the beach was generally superb. If I'm being picky, the beach bed cushions could use new covers. It's on a quiet stretch of beach.

Bobby was especially sweet, always greeting us with a big smile, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. We had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, and our room was clean and spacious. The hotel is right by the beach, with all the lively restaurants within walking distance. One of our favourite hotels in Lanka, and a must-stay for us.

We were glad we chose this place. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served delicious food throughout the day. We really enjoyed the clean, pleasant pool too. We spent our first night in a double room, then moved to the three-bedroom apartment for the rest of our five-night stay. Both were very nice and clean. The apartment was huge, with big rooms and a terrace overlooking an amazing sunset. Highly recommend!

Our holiday in Sri Lanka ended on a very discordant note. We had no hot water for showers on either of our two consecutive nights, and the room wasn't cleaned while we were out all day. The manager told me rooms are only cleaned every two days. So what happens when someone stays just two nights? Even a small guesthouse or hotel usually offers daily housekeeping. The location is great, but the facilities fell short. Anyone planning to book should have a list ready and ask about these basic facilities beforehand.

The resort sits right on the beach, and the beautiful rooms are well maintained. The pool is awesome and the service was excellent. Breakfast was just okay, though, and not great. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone.
