There was plenty of parking, and although the property doesn't have its own restaurant, we could conveniently order food from a nearby one and have it delivered. We stayed at Gimanhala Diyathalawa for one night and had a wonderful time. The clean, neat rooms were well maintained, and the friendly, polite owner made us feel welcome. The place was calm, cool, and relaxing, with an atmosphere that reminded us of the nearby Army Academy in Diyatalawa. It would suit a boys' trip or a peaceful getaway with someone you love.

At gimanhala, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and the service was excellent. Food can also be prepared for you if you like. The place is close to many locations and is in a high security area. We had an amazing time and can't wait to return!

The peaceful, beautiful surroundings make this hotel a great setting for family gatherings or office annual trips. I highly recommend it for groups of 20. The owner was very friendly and flexible, willing to discuss and arrange what we needed, and genuinely supportive of our experience. We had booked a chef for our meals, but unfortunately the food quality didn't meet our expectations. We told the owner promptly, and he assured us he'd address it and make the necessary changes. Aside from that setback, everything else exceeded our expectations.
