We found it private, comfortable, and quiet, with a handy location by the river where people go kayaking. Hikkaduwa town and beach are only a short drive or bus ride away. The villa has a roomy living area, a separate dining space, and a particularly well-equipped kitchen, with plenty of cookware, storage, a fridge with freezer, gas cooker, and BBQ facilities. There’s a pool table, plus large front and back yards for outdoor activities. The rooms and washrooms were clean, with small attached bathrooms and one additional large separate washroom. The owner was friendly and considerate. For the price, it was exceptional. A couple of fans didn't work, and the water pressure was adequate but could be better during the day. That was all we found imperfect.

The owner was friendly and professional, and even though we arrived well before check-in, they came within two minutes and let us in. This hidden gem has lots of room, a clean setup, and good facilities. There's a spacious living room with a TV and pool table, plus large front and back yards where you can play badminton or park several vehicles and still have room. A BBQ grill is there too. The kitchen has what you need, including a gas cooker and fridge. Each of the four double-bed rooms has a small attached bathroom, and there's another large bathroom with hot water and a washing machine. There’s also a fifth room with a double and single bed, so the place easily sleeps 11. It's just 20m from the Galle road, close to kayaking spots, many within 200m, and a short drive from Hikkaduwa beach.
