It's a bit of a walk to the main city, but it wasn't difficult and was well worth it for the price. We had a comfortable room with hot water, everything felt new, and we could see the waterfall right from the bed. There's also a nice seating area in front of the rooms for enjoying the views and nature. The owner is incredibly friendly and goes out of his way to make your stay great. He told us about things to see in Ella and has a tuk tuk, so if you let him know in advance or call, he'll take you places for a good price. Absolutely fantastic homestay.
