Ella Floating View

We left the next morning for another hotel. The room smelled really strange because it had mold, and there was no hot water until we waited for the water heater to be switched on. At night, we had no electricity, and breakfast was really bad. The manager of the rooms tried to help and was very friendly, but the owners weren't. It definitely wasn't worth the price, way overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it. DON'T GO.

Floating Ella is a good value if you're looking for a mountain view. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and each has a private balcony. From there you can see trains winding through the hills, waterfalls, and Ella Rock. The weather changes, so a clear view isn't guaranteed, but in the evenings the thick mist gives the place a special, almost magical feel. It's a short walk from Ella town. There's a small restaurant on site for convenient meals, and the prices are comparatively low, making it an attractive budget option. If a great view is what you're after, this is the place.

The service stood out most for me. The hotel is run by a family, and they're all very kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with the view to enjoy too. The rooms are spacious, each with a lovely terrace overlooking Ella Rock. It's on a quiet street, just three minutes from the center, and great value for money. For me, it's the best place to stay in Ella. I'd happily return :)

There wasn't anything I disliked, and the price was very reasonable. The rooms are a great size, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly. There's also a terraced kitchen and bar looking out over the mountains. Ella Rock is so close you can almost touch it, and the main high street is within walking distance. Highly recommend, and I'll be back next time I'm in the area.
