The three of us, my wife, our 10-year-old son and me, had a really good time here. We found the accommodation comfortable and well looked after, and the calm setting made it easy to relax.

The place had been refurbished nicely, but seemed very poorly maintained. We visited 13-15 Jan 2024. It was dirty, with what looked like long-standing grime on many walls and bathroom tiles, which also needed repainting. The garden and portico hadn’t been swept. Hot water was only available in the showers, not the washbasins, and one room’s basin drain was blocked. The owner also brought a friend over while we were at the villa.

We stayed two days last week. The place was good for the price, and the caretaker was very friendly. Owner Tharindu was a good guy and helped us visit Bandarawela and Ella towns. The food was average.

The rooms and bedding were filthy, including the bedsheets and pillowcases, and the whole place was very dirty. The owner was still drunk when we arrived. He also said he’d provide motorcycles for our trip to Ella, which I feel he used to cheat us out of money. In the end we had to give him money for free and find somewhere else to stay. Our holiday was completely ruined. Worst place in Ella.

We went on 2024/09/18, and for the low price the place was very, very good. The caretaker was friendly, and owner Tharindu was a good guy who helped us have a super enjoyable day.
