Ella Soul Resort

Ella soul resort is an underrated gem. We stayed two days, and our rooms were very clean with a nice balcony view. For a mountain view, head to the restaurant, which looks out toward ella rock. The food there is good too, with a decent range of vegetarian options. Must try the potato spuds.

We were especially grateful for how kindly and thoughtfully the staff helped us through an unexpected situation. They went out of their way to support us with genuine care, which made a real difference to our stay. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and breakfast was outstanding, one of the best meals we've had in a long time. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the hotel.

The rooftop restaurant and bar was the real standout, with delicious food and cheap drinks during happy hour from 4.30-7.30. Breakfast was fresh and amazing, possibly one of the best I've had in a hotel, and dinner was great too. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff super friendly. Brilliant location, just a three-minute walk to the main strip.

My stay at Ella Soul Resort was incredibly frustrating. There was no hot water in the shower at all, and in Ella's cold December weather, bathing was impossible. I reported it four times. Each time, staff told me to “wait 10 minutes.” I did, but nothing changed. I spent the whole night and the next morning until 9:30 AM dealing with it instead of enjoying my trip. The towels had visible holes, though I couldn't use them since I couldn't shower. Wi-Fi also stopped working from midnight until the next morning. When I asked for a partial refund because basic facilities weren't available, the hotel refused, saying they couldn't do anything because I'd booked through Booking.com, even though I paid the hotel directly. Booking.com also tried to contact them for me, but they ignored its messages. The hotel said they'd try to process a refund and get back to me. Six days later, I still hadn't heard a word. Honestly, I already suspected they'd only promised that to get rid of me. There was no accountability, and the staff were dishonest and unprofessional. They don't care about guests or basic service, and will waste your time with empty promises. Do not stay here.
