The family were wonderful to us, and you can tell how much effort and love they put into the place. They were friendly and humble, and helped with whatever we needed. The surroundings were amazing, the views wonderful, and everything very clean. Breakfast was great too. If you’re in Ella, this hidden gem is worth a stay. THANK YOU for everything, you made our trip through Sri Lanka even more memorable.

The host’s kindness really made the stay unforgettable. Even our driver noticed how considerate they were, taking care that he didn’t damage his car on the narrow roads. The mountain view was breathtaking, and having a private dining setting and a beautiful swing chair made it such a peaceful place to relax. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, with portions so massive they were a challenge to finish. The room was impeccably clean, and the complimentary snacks were a lovely extra touch. Highly recommended for the incredible hospitality!

The family running Guest Inn Avendra made us feel at home and were happy to help with everything. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and waking up surrounded by nature with those incredible views felt almost unreal.

Guest Inn Avendra gave us a peaceful base outside Ella's tourist bustle, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. Our top-floor room was spacious, with a great view from both the bedroom and balcony. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with something different each day, and dinner was just as tasty. Imantha and his family were so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time.

We could easily have stayed longer. Imantha and his family really do go the extra mile, just as other reviews say. Breakfast was huge and delicious, and the one dinner we had was great too. When it was time to leave, Imantha's dad drove us to Yalla and stopped along the way so we could sightsee and grab snacks. It made for a memorable stay, and I'd 100% recommend it. Stay here and you're in for a special treat.
