A lovely place close to town, with a beautiful view and a clean, comfortable room. The local family were great hosts. Highly recommended!

What made our 4-night stay at The Hidden Gem Inn special was the way Madu looked after us. She was incredibly warm, made amazing food, and her special curry lunch is a must try. She even arranged everything we needed, from taxis and scooters to laundry, and staying there felt like being part of her family. The view was stunning and peaceful, a lovely place to relax. We were grateful for her care and would highly recommend a getaway at The Hidden Gem Inn with Madu.

It feels tucked among the trees and stays quiet, even though the busy, noisy center is only a 5-10 minute walk away. Madhu, the owner, is extremely kind and can arrange pretty much anything you need, from food and laundry to a taxi. We had 3 wonderful days here.

The hosts made this feel like a warm family stay, and that was the best part for us. We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. Our clean, comfortable room sat among the trees with a lovely valley view, away from the noise of the main drag. Breakfast was generous and a nice way to start each day.

It can be a little hard to find, but once you do, you can walk from here to anywhere. The place is peaceful, with trees all around, and the breakfast was excellent. We had a lovely stay 3 years ago, and the friendly, helpful lady there made us feel welcome. Great value for money, too. It’s a hidden gem.
