The shared bathroom was the worst part. To get to it, you have to walk through the kitchen, and anyone there can see you coming and going. It felt awkward and there was no privacy. The room itself wasn’t clean, and I felt uncomfortable as soon as I entered. Two women staying or working there never smiled or spoke, which added to the cold, unwelcoming feel. I didn’t find the place comfortable or friendly, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the AC worked perfectly. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the fort, or five minutes by tuktuk. Lovely homestay and owners, really recommended!

Everything was fine. We stayed four nights, and the hosts were very nice and answered all our questions. They did our laundry, breakfast was provided, and the room was clean and big.
