Tulip of Ceylon Nature Resort

The location is lovely and close to nature, and the bedding, room, and bathroom were clean. The staff were polite and kind, though not very professional. The hotel seems poorly maintained and like it’s declining day by day. There weren’t meal choices, so we had to make do with whatever the kitchen could provide, and the room TV didn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend it to travelers unless management makes improvements.

The pool and rooms were dirty, and the place had the feel of a horror bungalow. We were given two rooms that were still being renovated. One had no bathroom door, lights, TV, or AC. It seemed like they didn’t care because we’d already paid in advance. The details and photos were fake, and the meal was just one piece of meat, poor value for money. I wouldn’t recommend this for a holiday. This place deserves no stars.

The sheets, blankets, and pillows were in an awful state, even worse than the very dirty room and toilet. The poor upkeep of the facilities seemed bad enough to cause health problems. Once you reach this remote place, you’ll be wondering how to get back out. It was almost impossible to communicate with staff or get even one problem resolved. Staying here was a waste of time and money. Stay away.

The pool was so disgusting and unclean that we didn’t use it at all. The food was tasty, and the in house staff 😂 were helpful. But when we wanted to complain, the owner and customer care guy wouldn’t answer the phone. The road to get there was a mess too.
