Watching the elephants bathe in the river was a peaceful, one-of-a-kind experience, and the view was stunning. We also enjoyed a swim and a drink while taking it all in. Hotel Elephant Park, Pinnawala was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. It made for an amazing stay and a great way to experience Pinnawala. The receptionist welcomed and helped us throughout the visit. I can't remember her name, but her kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made the stay even more memorable. Thanks to her and the whole team for making it so enjoyable. I'd highly recommend this peaceful place for a relaxing break with beautiful views and a special chance to watch elephants.

The friendly, attentive staff and excellent service made this a wonderful stay, and the food was delicious. I especially recommend the Sri Lankan chicken curry, one of the highlights for me. From my balcony I could watch elephants bathing, and I loved having my morning coffee with the beautiful view of the Pinnawala River and the elephants nearby. I'd happily recommend the experience.

We got a room upgrade even though we were only there for one night, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Shalika was wonderful and had a great eye for detail, and she took excellent care of us. Every staff member went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The pool looked stunning at sunset, with a breathtaking view. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty to choose from: Sri Lankan dishes, waffles, pastries, omelets, fresh fruits, and more. The coffee was a solid 10/10. We could watch elephants while having breakfast or lunch, which made the hotel's closeness to the bathing area unforgettable. Lunch and dinner felt a little pricey to me, though that seemed fair given how reasonably priced the rooms were. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay. We had an amazing time.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and they arranged a late checkout so I could attend an online meeting, which I really appreciated. We also enjoyed the good food and breakfast with a decent variety. We were there during my child's school vacation, and although I had to work for part of the stay, we had a really nice, relaxing family break. We'd booked a Deluxe Double Room without a river view, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to one with a river view. It was beautiful, and watching elephants bathe in the river became a highlight. I'd definitely recommend it for a peaceful family getaway.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt very friendly. The staff were helpful throughout, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and our rooms were neat and tidy with all toilet amenities. We stayed in May 2026, in rooms 101 and 202. The river view and watching elephants bathe from our room were lovely too.
