City Stay

This was my third visit to City Stay Galle, for two nights in the middle of last month. I had more freedom and a fabulous stay, and the hospitality felt better than before, with a clear improvement. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. Mohan was always there to help. When I got back from a techno event at 3 a.m., he woke up and unlocked the entrance for me. I also got to check in early at 9 a.m., which was amazing. The rooms were clean and tidy, the welcome drink was nice, and breakfast was good. The internet was slow, though. I really encourage the team to look into faster internet for guests, as I think it would make a big difference. Thanks, City Stay.

The rooms were very clean and the showers lovely. The staff were helpful and well prepared when we needed urgent asthma treatment late at night. They helped us arrange to get someone to hospital, and had an English-speaking phone contact for international tourists who could connect us with doctors and sort out transport.

Mohan provided very good service and helped us arrange a rental bike and tuk tuk. The room was clean, hot and cold water was available at any time, and breakfast was good. All the staff, including Mam, were 10/10. Thank you, Mohan. We'll definitely recommend it to people in our network who plan to visit sri lanka.

We stayed two days and found the place really good for the money, with reasonable prices, good food and friendly staff. City stay hotel is in Dewata srilanka, on the left just after you enter the southern express way, next to Indian Hut. It's easy to get to galle town, the southern express way, galle bus stand and Unawatuna jungle beach.
