Park Paradise

Getting to the hotel was difficult and stressful. The access road is broken and in very poor condition, and many taxi drivers refused to come because of it. The small pool is only waist-deep, with around five sunbeds for about ten rooms, which clearly isn’t enough. Our room was very dirty when we arrived, with dirt and debris on the floor, used towels, and bed linen that clearly hadn’t been changed. They replaced the linen after we complained, but the room still didn’t feel clean or fresh. Water pressure was extremely weak and there was no hot water. One morning the whole hotel lost power. There were so many flies in the breakfast area that eating felt impossible and raised serious hygiene concerns. The food was also very poor in both quality and variety. The hotel doesn’t meet basic standards for cleanliness, comfort, or access. I wouldn’t recommend it and would strongly advise future guests to look elsewhere.

The breakfast was very good and filling, with eggs, sausages, fruit, and interesting local dishes. The administrators and managers were kind, friendly, and helpful, which we really appreciated. The hotel also feels cozy, with a beautiful view and pleasant atmospheric lighting. Getting there was difficult. Some taxi and tuk tuk drivers wouldn’t go, and the ones who did often asked for extra money. Cleaning wasn’t thorough: there was still dirt on the floor afterward, and old stains remained on the bed linen. The sound insulation is poor, so street noise and sounds from neighboring rooms are easy to hear. Most of the time it was quiet, mainly with calm family couples staying there, but one night a noisy group arrived and everything carried through. We also had trouble with the hot water. The mixer in our room didn’t work properly, and the water was only slightly warm.

We felt very comfortable at Park Paradise Rumassala. The hotel is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and well looked after, with stunning panoramic views. Manager Maheel was attentive, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared, better than we expected. A great choice if you want comfort, good service, and amazing views.

The setting was decent and peaceful, but the service and food really let the place down. We went with friends and asked to change rooms, even though the prices were already high. The room boy checked availability, and the manager scolded him, loudly saying the room was booked. When we asked the receptionist ourselves later, we were told it was available for a higher price. That felt misleading and unprofessional. We eventually took the room, but the food was overpriced, the portions were tiny, and it barely had any flavor.
