The lake views and quiet setting made this feel like a proper break. Our room was comfortable, clean, and looked after, and the staff were welcoming from the minute we arrived. Breakfast was especially good. We had a lovely stay at Agbo Hotel, one of our favorites in Sri Lanka. ❤️

The food was a real highlight for our group, with fresh, flavorful dishes throughout. Agbo Hotel also had a welcoming feel, and the staff were always nearby, friendly, and ready to help. We felt at home from the start. We had a great visit and would happily return or recommend it for the food and service.

The room was spacious and clean, and the AC handled the heat perfectly. I also enjoyed the food more than I expected. Mornings were especially peaceful, with a lovely view of the lake, and the staff were always smiling and friendly. I’d stay here again if I return to Polonnaruwa.

The staff were consistently polite and attentive, which really added to our stay at AGBO Hotel. It’s a peaceful spot away from the usual busy surroundings, and the rooms were clean and comfortable with what we needed. We only booked one night and wished we’d stayed longer. The room was neat and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the staff were kind right from check-in. It’s quiet and relaxing by the lake. There are a few small things that could be better, but we genuinely enjoyed it and felt it was worth the price.
