The meals were the highlight of our stay at Ranil Villa. Everything was full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and served in generous portions. It was the best food we had on our travels, and made the whole visit even better. Ranil and his family welcomed us from the moment we arrived and were attentive, warm, and caring throughout. Their hospitality made us feel at home. Ranil Villa is a comfortable place to stay and a memorable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend it for an authentic stay.

We were a family of 10 and had the whole quiet villa to ourselves, which suited us perfectly. It’s about 6km from the busy parts of Galle, and we loved relaxing by the pool after hot days out exploring. The place was very clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Ranil and his family are beautiful people, and I really enjoyed our stay. 10 out of 10. Ranil and his family were wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming. Ranil knew the area well, was attentive, and even took me to a nearby temple. My room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was amazing, served on a private balcony overlooking lush green forest. There’s a quiet beach with a couple of beach bars nearby, and you’re still only a short tuk-tuk ride from Hikkaduwa and Galle if you want to get away from the bustle. They also have a brand new pool. A memorable stay, I’d recommend it.

Ranil, his lovely wife, and their children made us feel like part of their extended family during our two weeks at Ranil Villa in November 2024. The rooms were clean, the food was good, and the atmosphere was friendly. The service was outstanding, and Ranil would sort out whatever we needed or wanted.
