Miss Ceylon

Thiago deserves a special mention for the atmosphere he creates at Miss Ceylon. The hospitality, service, and party we had there are things we won’t forget. The whole team was kind and attentive, always ready to help, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful, with a clear pool, greenery, and lovely views. Our spacious, distinctive room was spotless and had an amazing oversized bathtub. We also appreciated the complimentary bicycles for exploring nearby. It felt like a privilege to stay here and get a genuine Sri Lankan experience beyond a regular hotel visit. Highly recommend it.

The service made the four days feel personal. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel like part of the family, with Hash and Thiago creating some unforgettable moments for me and my partner. We’ll definitely come back soon. Miss Ceylon felt like a traveller’s paradise. The architecture and design are striking, with huge glass windows and industrial touches set against nature. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious jungle feel. Breakfast was delicious and nourishing, made with fresh local food that gave the place a wellness retreat feel. We spent four nights here and loved it. Anyone travelling to Sri Lanka should experience this hotel.

The setting is tucked beneath palm trees beside lush rice fields, with no neighboring hotels, so it felt private and calm. Miss Ceylon has a cinematic look that made me feel like I’d stepped onto a movie set, almost like a Hollywood star. The staff were warm, attentive, and ready to handle any request, which made me feel well cared for. The rooms were elegant, comfortable, and impeccably finished, with a strong sense of style. Every detail seemed thought through. The food was also outstanding, on a level with top international restaurants, and every meal felt special. For me, it’s the most stylish hotel in Sri Lanka.

It’s in a quiet spot with rice paddies and jungle views, yet the beaches are only a ride away, 700 rupees. We enjoyed walking around and spotting monkeys, peacocks, and lots of birds, and there are bikes on site too. The massages were great as well. This was the best place on our Sri Lanka tour. We spent three nights in this brand new boutique hotel, which has just 12 huge rooms. The beds, linen, and even the tableware were lovely quality and tastefully chosen. The decor has lots of thoughtful little touches, but the team really made the stay. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and they handled special food requests and other needs easily. The cook is great, breakfast was amazing with excellent coffee, and we ate all three dinners there because the food was so good. The shared table is a nice way to mingle with other guests, and they can also set up candlelit tables for couples. Thanks again to Thiago, hash, and the whole team for an unforgettable visit.
