The food and service both fell short for us. Nothing tasted especially fresh, and the service was unremarkable. It wasn’t one of the better restaurants we tried in Sri Lanka, and we wouldn’t go back.

The devilled fish and beef came with chips and salad, and the food was really good. There was a lot of tomato sauce, though.

The garden had a relaxed feel, with the two little bunnies wandering around, and it made a nice place to stop for a meal or coffee. Staff were friendly and attentive, too. We especially liked the plain fruit salad, it was colorful, fresh, and full of flavor. The coffee was rich with bits of cinnamon, and the rest of the food was fresh and delicious. Sunset Cafe is a lovely little spot. 👌🏽

I had a great time and plan to come back next year, in 2026. The ocean and beach views were wonderful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation suited me well, simple but comfortable. I also found the prices for food and drinks acceptable. Thank you very much! Ayubowan! Budu Saranai! Mr Atesz Team Hungary!!!

The sea view is lovely, but the tuna didn’t taste fresh, and the chips and salad were very small portions. You can definitely find somewhere better to eat in Sri Lanka.
