Camellia Dwelling

We stayed at camellia for two days on a family trip. The rooms were immaculately clean, with useful amenities like a fridge, WiFi, clothes rack, and study table. Each one has a garden view, and the property is surrounded by a well-maintained garden. The owner and staff were hospitable and very helpful. Shops and markets are nearby. They also manage another bungalow in Hikkaduwa called 'Aroma Woods', which we are yet to explore. Thank you, Mr Padmanath, for all your support.

We loved our stay at Pady’s house. Set back from the road, the location is peaceful, and the rooms are large with good air conditioning and a good-sized bathroom. The patio doors open onto a beautiful garden, and it was lovely hearing birds singing in the morning. Ramesh, who works at the house, is genuinely lovely, works hard to keep everything going, and is helpful. Everyone was lovely and ready to advise or help with anything we needed. We were sad to return home earlier than planned because of family problems, but we really did love staying there.

We ended up liking the quieter spot away from the touristy area. It’s still close to the train station and beach, and the home was lovely. Paddy was so kind and gave us helpful ideas for planning the rest of our trip.

The room was really clean, and it’s close to the beach while being tucked away from the main road, so it’s quieter. We had such a good time with Paddy. He’s lovely to talk to, and the whole stay felt like being welcomed into a family. Thanks again, Paddy!
