At least the rooms are fairly clean, but the place only looks nice at first. It's small, so there's not much privacy once you're outside your room, and trains rumble and honk past through the night. The owners say they aren't the owners and refer you to their “boss.” They seem friendly, but I found them quick to distrust and focused on money. They tried to make costs sound higher than they were. For an airport taxi they charged 80 dollars and, when I questioned it, said fuel was $1.50, though it was actually $1.12. Booking showed breakfast at $2, but they acted surprised and charged $7. The woman tried to laugh it all off in a cynical way, while the man tried to make me feel guilty. Looks nice, but something feels fishy.

A fresh renovation, clean pool, big balcony, and a terrace with tables and chairs make this a very nice villa. The hosts are friendly, too. Breakfast comes with juice, eggs cooked in different ways with sausages or beans, yogurt, and toast with cheese. You can swap the eggs for porridge or cereal with milk. The owner spent several years working as a sushi chef in Japan, and it shows. In the evenings there's a small sushi bar with excellent sushi, rolls, sashimi, and more. The sea is five minutes away on foot, though the nearby stretch by a cafe is narrow. For a normal beach, allow 10-15 minutes walking. Fruit stalls, currency exchange, and a supermarket are around 10 minutes away.
