The place is really beautiful, with welcoming, caring hosts. It’s quiet and comfortable, and the swimmable beach is seven minutes away. The house is clean, and there’s a very sweet dog in the yard. Monitor lizards live beneath the house, and they’re fascinating to watch. They aren’t aggressive, but it’s better not to touch them. Walking barefoot in the yard is lovely. Mosquitoes come out in the morning and evening, but repellent and incense help. At sunset you might see flying foxes, real pterodactyls!

The owners are very hospitable and never intrusive, but always ready to help. The house has no huge insects or cockroaches, and the super local dog is always up for playing with you. One evening, without even leaving the balcony, we saw a family of monkeys, flying foxes, a mongoose, and hundreds of fireflies at night, besides the monitor lizards that live under the porch. Amazing place.
