The pool is great, and the rooms have very good air conditioning. The fridge could use a few more shelves. You're far enough from the beach that party music won't bother you, though you will hear trains passing.

The host was the kindest part of our lovely night at Villa comfort. We had a spacious room and bathroom, a nice balcony, and an excellent breakfast with fruit salad, eggs, toast, jam, and tea or coffee. We enjoyed chatting openly with him about the situation in Sri Lanka and seeing it from a local's perspective. Even after all the difficult things that have happened, he stays positive.

We rented the whole villa for a month, but the stay was spoiled by a long list of problems. The place was expensive and dirty, the bathrooms were broken, the AC only worked partly, and there was no Wi-Fi. The owner also cheated us, in my view. We agreed on one price, then after we moved in it went up by $450. He said we'd spoken to his brother on the phone and that the brother had given us the wrong price. He made us pay everything upfront before we could see the home, promising to fix any problems, then stopped answering the phone once he'd taken the money. In the end, the AC didn't work in three rooms, the promised daily cleaning never happened, and there were many other issues.

The spacious property is in a nice, quiet spot and was really clean. Devendra was a kind and helpful host. A great place to stay.
