Sea Turtles Boutique Bungalow

We spent two days at Sea Turtles Bungalow with our family, and it was one of our best experiences in Sri Lanka. Chamara and Sithumini were wonderfully kind and accommodating, doing so much to make us feel at home. We had two meals there to try local Sri Lankan food and hospitality, and both exceeded our expectations. They cooked us delicious food and helped with even small requests, from calling tuk tuks to recommending beaches. The place was clean and close to both the main road and the beach. I’d highly recommend it for couples, families or groups of friends.

We had a peaceful, enjoyable stay at Sea Turtles Bungalow, Bentota. The house is lovely and well cared for, and with the beach so close, it’s easy to take relaxing walks by the sea. I’d definitely recommend it. 🌊🐢

A lovely family hosts this traditional house, which has a very appealing interior. The rooms were well kept and had what we needed, including working AC and lights. Food and water were provided when we asked, and the hosts were happy to help with extra requests such as arranging cabs or preparing custom food. The beach is a few hundred metres away, with a couple of nice restaurants nearby. We also had a pleasant experience at the Sea turtle conservation project about 500 metres away. Local shops in the city are only a short bus ride away.

A relaxing, homely place for a vacation, and close to the beach too. There are lots of facilities for a really affordable price, with very friendly service and hospitality. Highly recommended.
