We really enjoyed the breakfast, with eggs, fruit, Sri Lankan curries and hoppers to choose from. It wasn’t a buffet, and the temperature-controlled pool was a nice extra. The team were friendly and helpful throughout, and Marnix personally took care of the details. He also helped arrange day tours and vehicle hire. Imagine villa is a lovely boutique resort right by the sea in Kamburugamuwa. Just keep in mind it’s not on Mirissa beach, which is about 5-7 minutes away by tuk-tuk.

We had such a good stay here with the kids. The garden gave them lots of space to play, and the rooms and bathrooms were big. There was good food and lovely drinks, plus a very helpful owner. The pool was just the right size for us. A perfect place near Mirissa 💙

With only nine rooms, it was peaceful and quiet, and the golden-sand beach nearby was amazing. Mr Marnix, a Belgian owner, offered European-style service. We loved the soursop juice, spiny lobster and whole seer fish. Thank you, I can only recommend this place.

Marnix made it easy to organize transport and tours, and the breakfast and service were wonderful. We had a great stay. Mirissa beach is only a short tuk-tuk ride away.

The garden was beautifully kept, and the pool was lovely. There’s direct access to the beach, where we could spot turtles in the afternoon. Our kids spent ages swimming, gathering shells and hanging out with the friendly staff. The rooms are spacious for a small boutique hotel right beside the sea. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was nicely cooked too. Try the Imagine Cocktail ;-)
