The staff were so welcoming, and Chef Shrimal and the whole team helped make our stay memorable. We visited Club ManGo - Eco Resort for Sinhala Avurudu and got to try the Avurudu games. I also had my first carting ride, which made the occasion even more special. It's a beautiful place for nature lovers, with lovely views of the pool and lagoon. One of the best places I've visited. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves since we booked as a group. We loved the deck and the pretty wooden walkway. The location is super beautiful, and the staff were friendly and supportive. They prepared fresh, tasty fish, fries, and vegetables as starters. Must visit Club Mango again very soon.
After a long day out on the sand dunes, coming back to a comfortable hotel made the Jeep Club trip truly memorable. The drive was a huge success and enjoyed by around 15 Jeep owners and their families. We chose Club Mango in Kalpitiya as our base for the Jeep Club outing over the weekend of 31st January/01st February. The hotel was comfortable and the food was good quality. Above all, Mr. Dabare, “Kusal” in the dining room, and the rest of the team made a real difference with their care and hospitality over our two days in Kalpitiya. Especially nice with children! The staff are helpful and friendly, and the kitchen serves really tasty, flavourful Sri Lankan food as well as simple child-friendly options. There's a big pool where kids can play, a lovely shared area, and easy access to the beach.
We had a wonderful two-night stay on our first visit to Kalpitiya. There are cozy places around the property to sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful natural setting. I especially loved our chalet and its open-air bathroom, which was new and exciting for us. Chef Srimal made every meal delicious and shared stories about Kalpitiya and his cooking. I enjoyed picking up recipe ideas and cooking tips from him. The birthday cake he baked himself for my husband was such a thoughtful surprise. Mr. Bandara also told us about the area and nearby activities, and helped arrange a whale watching boat trip. We were lucky to see beautiful pods of dolphins around the boat during our mid-October visit. The stewards, cleaning staff, and receptionist were all so welcoming that we felt at home right away. I didn't want to leave the peaceful atmosphere, great food, and kind people. Club Mango Eco Chic Resort was full of refreshing new experiences and good vibes. I highly recommend it for a stay in Kalpitiya.
